The Guide Franck has you start from the Parking des Barnets, i took the bus so got off at Office de Tourism. However i should have gotten off close to les Bernards which is a bit closer to the start point (assuming you take the 5110 to Lans). Lans en Vercors is easy to get to even on a sunday as its served by both the Lans en Vercors bus (5110) and the Villard de Lans bus (5100)

I walked up the road for a bit from Lans to the start point, however in hindsight it seems there is actually a PR between the two, probably a bit nicer than walking the road, but maybe a bit longer. Taking the road added about 6km return to the total route length.

Auberge des Allieres is the last point for water on this route, i saw no other points between there and returning, so make sure you take enough.
