Jump To RoutesThe most popular parts of Pembrokeshire include St Davids which can be very busy in the summer. It is easy to escape to quieter areas though, further north east towards Cardigan the path is much less walked.
Accommodation
- Trellyn Woodland Camping – Posh camping in Yurts and Domes. Excellent facilities and great access to the coastal path at Abercastle.
- The Corn Loft – Nice apartment 15 minutes walk out of Solva. Fresh lobster dressed and ready to eat for ~ £10
Access
As the path is continuous your walking opportunities can be quite limited by circular walks. Many people stop in B&Bs as they move along the path. We found that the bus service is very useful if you want to say park in one place, take the bus, and walk back, allowing you to walk much larger sections. There are two bus services that seem almost specifically for the coastal path, the third is mostly useful if you’re in or around St Davids.
- 404 – Strumble Shuttle – St Davids – Fishguard
- 405 – Poppit Rocket – Covering Cardigan – Newport – Fishguard
- 403 – Celtic Coaster – Covers various locations in and out of St Davids
