parked in main car park at st davids (not expensive, £5 all day), took bus 403 celtic rambler, star bus thingy for £1 each journey. map is helpful. this is easy walking compared to other sections of costal path, but much busier due to proximity to st davids.

got off at whitesands, where you could park, good facilities, water, cafe, toilets. beautful beach, good for swim too. busy in season.

4km along path to St Justinians. Famous old lifeboat station here, new one being constructed (2015). Trips out to ramsey island from here. is parking but no facilities.

walk another 4km to end of headland, great views of ramsey island. ramsey sound has really ineresting tide

11km to porth clais has ice cream, little harbour, parking, tea shop. this section is much more arid. only place in june where we saw gorse in flower. old furnaces, lime kilns

13km to St Non’s, at which point you return inland on a very well marked path. blurb about St Non’s
